Literacy Launch
1st-2nd Grade
Literacy Launch is designed to strengthen and build upon foundational reading skills for 1st and 2nd graders. In this program, students will focus on a variety of key skills, including phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, and basic comprehension. They will work on identifying and manipulating sounds within words, building strong vocabulary through context and word study, and developing strategies for reading unfamiliar words. Students will also engage in fluency practice to increase their reading speed and expression, while comprehending short passages and identifying main ideas. This program emphasizes the connection between decoding words and understanding the meaning of texts, providing students with the tools they need to become confident and independent readers.
Literacy Lift
3rd-5th Grade
Literacy Lift is focused on helping students in grades 3-5 build upon their reading comprehension and fluency while mastering more complex yet still foundational skills. This program targets vocabulary development, understanding word relationships (e.g., synonyms, antonyms, and homophones), and analyzing sentence structure. Students will deepen their ability to recognize and use common prefixes, suffixes, and root words, which are essential for reading fluency and word recognition. Additionally, students will practice reading with expression and comprehension, including summarizing texts, identifying themes, and making inferences. This program encourages students to engage with a range of genres—fiction and nonfiction—while fostering a deeper understanding of the texts they read, helping them to not only decode but critically analyze and synthesize information.
Math Foundations
1st-2nd Grade
Math Foundations focuses on building a strong mathematical base for 1st and 2nd graders. In this program, students will work on mastering addition and subtraction facts, understanding place value, and recognizing patterns in numbers. The curriculum also introduces basic concepts of measurement, geometry (such as shapes and symmetry), and an understanding of time and money. Using hands-on activities and interactive games, students will develop a solid understanding of number operations and mathematical thinking. This program ensures that students grasp fundamental math skills that they can build upon in higher grades.
Math Mastery
3rd-5th Grade
Math Mastery is designed for students in grades 3-5 who need help mastering foundational yet advanced math concepts. Students will focus on developing fluency in multiplication, division, fractions, and basic geometry. In addition to working on word problems and real-life applications of math, students will practice breaking down complex math problems and solving them step by step. This program also covers the concepts of ratios, measurement, and the introduction to basic algebraic thinking. The small group setting allows for personalized attention, so each student can work at their own pace and build the confidence they need to succeed in more challenging math topics.
