A Message From the Founder
Hi, I’m Anna Seele, the founder of Tailored Academics. For nearly 10 years, I’ve worked as a licensed General and Special Education teacher, Reading Specialist, and Academic Interventionist. With a Master’s degree in Education and a passion for helping children thrive, I’ve made it my mission to bridge the gap between school and home by supporting both students and parents.
At Tailored Academics, I believe every learner deserves an approach that is personalized, evidence-based, and compassionate. That’s why I’ve built my practice around four core ways to support families:
-
In-Person Tutoring – individualized instruction in reading, writing, and math, grounded in research-based methods.
-
Virtual Tutoring – flexible, accessible support so quality instruction is always within reach.
-
Parent Coaching & Consultation – tools, strategies, and advocacy guidance to help you confidently support your child at home and at school.
-
Courses & Online Resources – on-demand trainings, guides, and printable resources that put expert knowledge into your hands whenever you need it.
I don’t just focus on teaching skills—I focus on building confidence, creating clarity, and empowering families with lifelong tools. Whether your child needs structured literacy support, you want actionable parent strategies, or you’re looking for ready-to-use resources, I’ve got you covered.
At Tailored Academics, my mission is simple: to equip students and families with the skills, strategies, and confidence to thrive—inside and outside the classroom.

Certified to Help Young Minds Shine
With a deep passion for helping young learners succeed, I bring a strong background in education and specialized training to every lesson. I’m a licensed K-6 general education teacher and a licensed P-12 special education teacher, with seven years of experience working with students in 3rd, 4th, and 6th grade. My expertise extends to dyslexia intervention, having been trained through the Dyslexia Institute of Indiana in state-approved programs, including the Orton-Gillingham Approach. I’m also LETRS trained (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling), an accreditation backed by the International Dyslexia Association.
Education is at the heart of what I do, and I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Exceptional Needs Education from Indiana Wesleyan University. To further strengthen my ability to support struggling learners, I earned a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Special Education and Academic Interventions from Purdue University.
Every child learns differently, and my goal is to provide the right strategies, encouragement, and support to help them grow in confidence and ability. Let’s make learning a fun and successful journey together!
