Hi there! I’m so glad you’re here.
My name is Anna Seele, and I’m the founder and lead educator at Tailored Academics. With a deep passion for helping young learners build confidence and master foundational skills, I specialize in academic intervention and tutoring for K-5 students in reading and math.
With years of experience in education, I understand that every child learns differently. That’s why I take a personalized, evidence-based approach to ensure each student gets the support they need to thrive. Whether your child is struggling with reading fluency, number sense, or just needs a little extra guidance, I’m here to provide a nurturing and engaging learning experience.

With a deep passion for helping young learners succeed, I bring a strong background in education and specialized training to every lesson. I’m a licensed K-6 general education teacher and a licensed P-12 special education teacher, with seven years of experience working with students in 3rd, 4th, and 6th grade. My expertise extends to dyslexia intervention, having been trained through the Dyslexia Institute of Indiana in state-approved programs, including the Orton-Gillingham Approach. I’m also LETRS trained (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling), an accreditation backed by the International Dyslexia Association.
Education is at the heart of what I do, and I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Exceptional Needs Education from Indiana Wesleyan University. To further strengthen my ability to support struggling learners, I earned a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Special Education and Academic Interventions from Purdue University.
Every child learns differently, and my goal is to provide the right strategies, encouragement, and support to help them grow in confidence and ability. Let’s make learning a fun and successful journey together!
