Because Every Child Deserves a Strong Start

Every child deserves the right tools, guidance, and support to thrive as a reader and lifelong learner.

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all learning. We believe in tailored support, because every parent, every reader, and every future deserves nothing less.

Why Orton-Gillingham?

When it comes to reading intervention, one size does not fit all. That’s why at Tailored Academics, we use the Orton-Gillingham approach - a proven, research-backed method designed specifically for struggling readers, including children with dyslexia.

See how families are growing with Tailored Academics.

“When my daughter first started with Mrs. Seele at Tailored Academics, she didn’t even know all of her letter sounds and was starting to get frustrated with learning. Just a few months later, she’s reading! Anna makes learning fun and engaging - my daughter actually looks forward to her sessions every week. We are beyond grateful for the confidence and excitement she now has about reading!”

“I scheduled a virtual reading assessment with Anna, and it was one of the most helpful things I have ever done for my son. The report she provided was so detailed and clear - it showed exactly where  his gaps were and what specific skills he needed to strengthen. I was even able to share it with his school team, and they immediately understood how to better support my son. I can’t recommend this enough!”

Lacy Thomas (Parent of 3rd Grader)

“Anna’s virtual course How To Help A Struggling Reader  helped me learn strategies I could use right away. I feel like I’m not just waiting for school to ‘fix it.’ I’m part of my son’s progress.”

Leslie Miller (Parent of 1st Grader)

“The combination of small group tutoring and at-home support through Anna’s online resources has been amazing. It feels like she’s built this bridge between what happens in her sessions and what we do at home and it is really working for us.”
